Global attention is turning to Industrial Decarbonization in the process industries, with a focus on Cement Plants. Cement production is a significant contributor to Global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, accounting for approximately 8% of the world’s emissions. Half of the emissions from cement production come from the Calcination Process, while 40% come from the burning of Fossil Fuels to heat Kilns, and the remaining 10% come from the fuels needed for Mining and Transporting Raw Materials. The emissions from Cement Production are largely dependent on the proportion of Clinker used and the type and efficiency of the equipment used in Clinker production.

We provide consultancy and digital asset implementation services for cement plants and their captive power plants.

Leading Cement Producers have adopted cutting-edge CO2 Capture and Storage technologies and are actively exploring the use of Low-Carbon fuels. Over the past decade, the Cement Industry has made significant strides in advancing CCU/S initiatives, moving from research to Pilot Projects and even large-scale installations. Many of these initiatives have been supported by research funding or government subsidies.
